MUNLY's Code of Conduct & Ethics outlines the expected behaviour of all those who choose to attend our conferences. By registering for any MUNLY conference, you agree to abide by these standards.
Integrity
All participants must operate with a code of honour and integrity towards all academic work done at our conferences. Plagiarism, including the use of AI, is strictly prohibited. Delegates who fail to attend all sessions of their respective committees will have their certificates withdrawn.
Fairness
Discrimination on any basis will not be tolerated. Derogatory, offensive, or inappropriate comments and behaviour made on a non-consensual basis are grounds for exclusion.
Respectful Conduct
MUNLY operates with respect and adherence to Islamic principles and expects the same of all participants.
- Mixed groups are to remain in public areas at all times, and physical contact with the opposite sex besides a professional handshake is prohibited.
- We recommend participants to enjoy the activities our team has planned for the breaks, as no self-planned activities will be allowed.
Dress Code
In adherence with MUNLY's values, all participants are expected to show up in modest and professional attire. The following is strictly prohibited for both male and female participants:
- Exposed necklines
- Skirts above ankle length
- Excessive make-up and jewellery
- Skin-tight clothing
- Hair down. Participants with hair at or beyond shoulder length should have their hair tied back and out of their face.
Morals & Values
Possession or usage of cigarettes, vapes, and other prohibited substances will not be tolerated.
